IBS, SIBO & Gut Health
Treating IBS, SIBO & Gut Health
IBS known as irritable bowel syndrome is often a general diagnosis given when important causes of gut issues have been excluded. Drivers are many and varied and can include anxiety driven IBS, Post infectious IBS after an episode or history of food poisoning or gastroenteritis, bacterial overgrowth in the small intestine or colon, endometriosis on the bowel, genuine food intolerances, food allergies and more.
Tanya will often request copies of colonoscopies, endoscopies, barium swallow, urea breath testing for H Pylori and blood tests from your GP if you have any of these available.
Constipation and diarrhea can be a consequence of many of the above conditions and are also prevalent due to an imbalance of gut bacteria, dietary choices, and diseases such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, diverticulitis to name a few.
